Day 1 – Saturday, 06 March 2027
Arrival and Transfer to Galle

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo you will be warmly welcomed by the SriLankan Airlines staff and transferred to the Taj Airport Hotel for lunch. As you will be arriving mid-day, this stop will allow you to relax before continuing on the scenic drive to Galle for your first overnight stay.

After the journey, the remainder of the evening will be reserved for rest and relaxation, with time to enjoy the hotel’s amenities. In

the evening, you will gather for a welcome dinner at the hotel, marking the beginning of your journey together.

Day 02 – Sunday, 07 March 2027
Exploring Galle

After breakfast at the hotel, set off to explore Galle and its surroundings. Begin with a traditional mask-making experience in

Ambalangoda, offering a glimpse into Sri Lanka’s rich artisanal heritage. Continue with a scenic Madu River boat ride, including a visit to a cinnamon island, before heading to lunch.

In the evening, visit the historic Galle Fort a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you can wander through its charming streets and uncover its colonial past. As the sky turns golden, unwind with local refreshments and take in the stunning coastal views—a perfect blend of relaxation and authentic local flavour within the timeless setting of Galle Fort.

Day 03 – Monday, 08 March 2027
Galle| Udawalawa

After breakfast, we'll depart from Galle and journey inland to the Udawalawa Elephant Transit Home. There, observe rescued elephants, interact with caretakers, and support vital conservation efforts.

Afternoon Itinerary

After lunch, arrive at your Yala hotel for check-in and spend a leisurely evening to unwind.

Optional Excursion

Join an optional 3-hour visit to the sacred Kataragama Temple (GBP 25 per person, minimum 6 participants).

Day 04 – Tuesday, 09 March 2027
Yala

Today’ day begins with visit to temple, seeking blessing and enjoy a delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan lunch prepared by villagers.

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting 4WD jeep safari in Yala National Park, which is renowned as one of the best wildlife destinations in Asia, famous for its rich biodiversity and exceptional safari experiences.

Riders also can join Jeep Safari which will be GBP 60 per person (minimum 5 participants).

Day 05 – Wednesday, 10 March 2027
Yala | Ella | Nuwara Eliya

We’ll say goodbye to Yala this morning and journey toward Nuwara Eliya, one of Sri Lanka’s most charming hill country destinations,

celebrated for its cool climate and colonial-era charm.

En route, we’ll stop in Ella to visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, a stunning architectural marvel set amidst lush greenery. Lunch will be

at Ravana Pool Club, where you can unwind and enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool.

After a leisurely break, we’ll continue with a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya—often referred to as “Little England”—renowned for its colonial architecture, rolling tea plantations, and mist-covered hills that create a truly picturesque landscape.

Day 06 – Thursday, 11 March 2027
Nuwara Eliya

In the morning we delve into one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated traditions with a visit to a local tea factory and plantation. Walk

through lush tea fields, learn about the intricate tea production process, and sample some of the finest Ceylon teas. With its cool climate, crisp air, and postcard-perfect landscapes, Nuwara Eliya continues to enchant both locals and travellers alike.

Optional Activity

Riders can opt for a special tea factory experience at GBP 10 per person (minimum 5 participants).

Explore Nuwara Eliya's vibrant market and scenic sights, then relax at the hotel before a delightful hosted High Tea in the evening.

Day 07 – Friday, 12 March 2027
Kandy | Dambulla

We’ll bid farewell to Nuwara Eliya this morning and journey toward Kandy, the cultural heart of the island, nestled amidst the lush central highlands.

In Kandy, you’re invited to visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha, one of Buddhism’s most sacred sites and a UNESCO World Heritage site, believed to house a tooth of the Buddha himself.

Its serene surroundings and deep spiritual significance make for a truly memorable experience. Afterwards, you may enjoy lunch at Queens Hotel.

Following lunch, we continue our journey to Dambulla. En route, we’ll stop at a spice garden to discover Sri Lanka’s rich heritage of

herbs and spices, where you can also indulge in a complimentary head massage.

In the evening, we’ll check in to the hotel and unwind with dinner, followed by an exclusive private cultural dance performance.

Day 08 – Saturday, 13 March 2027
Dambulla

Today begins with a visit to one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks — the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. This UNESCO World Heritage Site rises dramatically from the plains and features ancient water gardens, well-preserved frescoes, and breathtaking panoramic views from its summit.

After the climb, dive into authentic village life at Hiriwadunna with hands-on cooking lessons and a delicious home-cooked traditional Sri Lankan lunch.

Optional Adventure

Join a thrilling 4-hour Habarana Jeep Safari at 2:00 PM for GBP 60 per person (minimum 6 participants).

Day 09 – Sunday, 14 March 2027
Dambulla | Colombo

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey from Sri Lanka's cultural heartland to the vibrant commercial capital of Colombo.

Enjoy lunch in Kurunegala along the way. Upon arrival, take a brief city tour passing iconic landmarks like Independence Square, Galle Face Green, the Old Parliament, and the charming Dutch Hospital Precinct with its shops and restaurants.

Farewell Celebration

Conclude your adventure with a special farewell dinner featuring traditional music and dance, capturing Colombo's blend of modern

energy and colonial allure.

Day 10 – Monday, 15 March 2027

Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to airport for the departure flight.
